Client admission guidelines
We serve Men & Women in re-entry and recovery.
Eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for admission to Ananeo, a potential client must meet the following criteria:
Voluntary admission
The individual must enter the program voluntarily.
Urinalysis screening (UA)
The individual must provide a urinalysis sample upon screening.
Substance use and detoxification needs
If the client is currently using opioids or other substances likely to result in significant withdrawal symptoms that Ananeo is not equipped to manage, the individual will be referred to a detox facility.
They may return to Ananeo for housing at a later date, if they meet admission criteria at that time.
Medical stability
The client must be medically stable.
Medical conditions are acceptable if they are being appropriately managed by an outside healthcare provider.
Behavioral stability
The client must have adequate control over their behavior.
They must not pose an imminent danger to themselves or others.
Motivation for recovery
The client must express a desire to recover from substance use.
Individuals who are not in recovery or do not have a substance use disorder may still be admitted, but they must agree to comply with all house rules and sobriety monitoring requirements.
Capacity for participation
The client must be capable of active participation in all phases of the program.
Physical mobility
The client must be ambulatory and able to meet their own personal needs without staff assistance.
This includes the ability to go up and down stairs regularly.
Financial Eligibility
The client must have adequate resources or a funding source to cover program costs.
For individuals eligible under the competency population, grant funds may satisfy this requirement.
If an individual is not in recovery and does not suffer from addiction, they are welcome in the program; however, they must agree to abide by the same house rules and procedures concerning monitored sobriety.

An individual is not eligible for admission if any of the following apply:
